For the COVID pandemic, we created an all-in-one disinfection station. This all-in-one product was a holder for tissues and disinfectant, including a hanging system. The product consisted of plastic with an aluminium frame.
In our process, we developed several different plastic prototypes in order to determine the best design and mechanical structure. At a later stage, we experimented with the coating to get a feel for the final product for mass production. We also used the CNC to experiment with wood, to see if the product would look interesting with this material.
Many renders, designs and prototypes were made. Here is a timeline of the prototypes. If you look closely you can clearly see the difference between robust printing and the final smooth product created by injection moulding.
Do you also want to be involved in the development process as much as possible? Then get in touch with us and we will work together on the perfect design and product.
